Research Infrastructure Strategy Office
The University of Melbourne's research endeavours are supported by a myriad of research infrastructure, including high-end platform technologies, unique collections, data management and specialised facilities. Recognising the importance of such infrastructure to the University's research output, the Research Infrastructure Strategy Office (RISO) was established in August 2011 to develop a coherent University wide approach to research infrastructure provisioning.
Working with the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research Collaboration) and in alignment with future recommendations emerging from the Research Commission, RISO will work with all Departments and Faculties to develop policies and systems to efficiently and effectively utilise the University's research infrastructure.
